Two Palisades Recovery Events To Be Held This Weekend

The American Legion will host a Palisades Recovery Pop-Up on Saturday afternoon, while the Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce will hold a Rebuild Expo on Sunday.

The Saturday Palisades Recovery Pop-Up will be “a day of healing, connection, and hope for fire survivors as our community continues its recovery,” according to the organizers Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), Rotary District 5280, and Palisades LTRG,.

From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Nov. 22, attendees can meet local services providers and enjoy health and wellness workshops on topics such as CPR and acupuncture. In addition, the event, which will be held at 15247 La Cruz Dr., will have a kids zone, music, and complimentary food and refreshments.

The Sunday Palibu Chamber Rebuild EXPO 2025 will be held on Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both Alma Real and La Cruz Drive will be closed to traffic to create a space for the event, which will have dozens of exhibitors. Homeowners, builders, suppliers, and community leaders can “explore groundbreaking rebuilding technologies, meet industry experts, and discover smart, sustainable solutions shaping the next generation of construction, recovery, and design,” according to the chamber.

The expo will feature interactive exhibits, live demos, and hands-on resources that teach about cutting-edge materials and recovery incentives. Attendees can network with local officials, city agencies, and fellow residents as they learn about innovative building techniques. Food trucks, a kids space, and a live stage will be offered.
