Thefts from Vehicles & Annual Toy Drive in Weekly Police Report

Los Liones Trailhead was struck twice with thefts from vehicles last week, according to Senior Lead Officer Brian Espin.

“We have asked our patrols units to check that area frequently while they are on their routine patrols,” said Espin in his weekly report.

Two thefts from vehicles also occurred the previous week, but not at the trailhead. One was near the intersection of Sunset and PCH, while the other was in the Palisades Village area.

Espin also mentioned the LAPD West LA annual toy drive, which has begun accepting donations.

“We are asking for toy donations to be dropped off here at the station for our local kids in the West LA community,” Espin said. “As always, I truly appreciated the support of our Palisades community.

To donate, bring unwrapped, new toys to West L.A. Community Police Station at 1663 Butler Ave. between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donations will be accepted through December 19.

TFMV stands for thefts from motor vehicles, and the diamonds mark the crime locations.
