Storm Forecast Updated to Phase 2, Targeted Evacuation Orders Issued

The storm forecast has intensified and County Public Work has issued a Phase 2 debris flow assessment for first-year burn areas, according to L.A. County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath.

As a result, an evacuation order is in now in place for targeted properties in Pacific Palisades burn scar areas. The orders take effect tonight at 8 p.m. and will remain in place for the duration of the storm, according to the county. Law enforcement personnel are going door to door to notify any residents at affected properties.
