5K/10K Turkey Trot Set for Thanksgiving Day at PaliHi
The 11th Annual Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot will begin at Palisades Charter High School on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.
The 5K and 10K runs will start at 8 a.m., and an estimated 2,200 participants and 2,500 spectators are expected to attend.
This year, a new course route will be used, and 10K runners will run it twice with a turnoff on Antioch Street, according to organizers. Each runner will receive a swag bag with t-shirt, a chip-timed bib, and other items. Results will be posted shortly after the race at www.paliturkeytrot.com/results.
Packet Pick-Up will be at Vons Supermarket at Sunset & PCH in the 3 days leading up to the event—Monday through Wednesday (Nov. 24-26). Event organizers strongly urge runners to pick up their gear early to avoid lines on Thanksgiving morning.
