The Los Angeles Conservation Corps (LACC) has been removing dry brush by the creek along Entrada and West Channel Rd. since last week.

Sharon Kilbride, the Canyon representative to the Pacific Palisades Community Council, worked with Arus Grigoryan from Councilmember Traci Park’s office to arrange the project.

“The brush was actually impeding the roadway,” Kilbride said. The LACC “has been here for a week and a half and are completing cleaning truckloads of dry brush from the area, which presented somewhat of a fire hazard. Today we bought them some pizzas and drinks, and they were very grateful and happy. They’ll be back to complete the work in the next few days.”
