Home Hardening Event to Be Rescheduled

The Canyon Alliance sent out the following email about rescheduling the Home Hardening Education Event, which was planned for Sunday:

Hello community members,

Unfortunately, we need to reschedule the Home Hardening event with Keegan Gibbs that was originally scheduled for this Sunday, February 15.

Thank you so much for the enthusiastic response, our RSVPs exceeded expectations, and we’re truly looking forward to continuing this important conversation.

In the meantime, we encourage you to watch the PBS program Weathered: After the Fire Storm, which features Keegan’s work and explores the steps we can take, as well as the challenges we continue to face, one year after the Palisades Fire that affected our entire community.

If you’re eager to get started and would like to schedule a one-on-one home hardening evaluation with Keegan and the Community Brigade team, we’ve included additional information and a contact in this email. There will be more opportunities for this in the future, including the possibility of coordinating evaluations by micro-neighborhoods within the canyon, along with further discussions about how we can best prepare as a community for the next fire season and beyond.
