Free Mental Health Services Available to Palisadians
Resilient Palisades sent out the following list of free mental health resources for people who were affected by the Jan. 2025 wildfires.
Maple Counseling provides Palisades/Eaton wildfire survivors with 12 free sessions of trauma-informed therapy followed by affordable sliding-scale care, along with insurance navigation and referrals to therapists who accept their coverage. (310) 584-1326.
Foothill Family provides comprehensive emotional and therapeutic support—including 10 free therapy sessions—along with resources and community programs to help individuals and families recover from the Eaton and Palisades fires. Contact (626) 993-3000 and select option 3 for the intake line. Their in-person sessions are in Pasadena, and they also do virtual sessions.
Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services provides six free therapy sessions for anyone impacted (displaced, supporting others, etc.) by the fires. (424) 362-2935.
SAMHSA provides 24/7 emotional support for disaster survivors who need to vent and talk about their crisis. They can be connected to further therapy services and resources. (800) 985-5990.
ONEgeneration provides free, trauma-informed mental health and wellness services for individuals impacted by the fires, including short-term individual therapy (8–12 weeks), monthly peer support groups, and resilience workshops focused on coping and recovery.
