City Council Will Hold a Palisades Fire Commemoration Downtown on Jan. 9
On Jan. 9 from 10-11 a.m., the Los Angeles City Council will hold a One-Year Remembrance of the Pacific Palisades Fire to honor the lives lost and the community’s resilience.
“Community members are strongly encouraged to attend as another opportunity to stand together and show the entire City Council the strength, unity, and determination that define Pacific Palisades,” said Arus Grigoryan, senior field deputy to Councilmember Traci Park, in an email. “Your presence matters. Being there is a powerful reminder to city leaders that recovery is ongoing and that rebuilding requires continued attention, coordination, and support from all levels of government. Together, we can ensure that the voices of Palisades residents remain front and center as recovery efforts continue.”
The event will be at the Los Angeles City Council Chambers- Room 340, City Hall, 200 N. Spring St. RSVP at the following link: https://forms.gle/mh6x9ZT5TA9jhTqq7. For parking accommodations/reservations, email william.ayala@lacity.org.
