Community Council Candidates Announced

The area and at-large candidates for the August Pacific Palisades Community Council election have been announced.

Incumbent representative Sharon Kilbride is the sole candidate from Area Seven, which includes Rustic and Santa Monica Canyons. Candidates for the other seven sections of the Palisades are as follows:

Area One: Bart Young, Martin Hak, Kate Santoro

Area Two: Kambiz Kamdar, Diane Bleak

Area Three: Julia Nilsen, Elissa Ashwood

Area Four: Karen Ridgley, Eliana Bernstein, Rebecca Lobl

Area Five: Kimberly Bloom, May Sung

Area Six: Lorie Cudzil

Area Eight: Andrew Wolfberg

In addition, Chris Spitz and Richard Fink are running for the at-large seat.

The election will be online at the council website (www.pacpalicc.org) beginning on Aug. 21 and running for two weeks. Candidate statements should be added to the website soon.

Residents who are displaced by the Palisades Fire and intend to return to the Palisades permanently, will be eligible to vote by affirming their intent to return.
