Weekend Events: YMCA Crafty Fun, Recovery Resource Fair & PaliHi Flea Market

Friday will be the first of three free community Friday fun nights at YMCA’s Simon Meadow, while Saturday features the opening of Pali Hub and Sunday offers a flea market at Palisades Charter High School.

A trio of YMCA outdoor events will begin Apr. 10 from 4:30-7:30 with a Crafty Fun Night at 15551 W. Sunset Blvd. Arts and crafts supplies will be provided. On Apr. 17, games will be the focus, while Apr. 24 will be all about jokes and laughter. Reserve a spot or get more information here.

On Saturday, Apr. 11, Pali LTRG (Long-Term Recovery Group), the Rotary Club, and GEM (Global Empowerment Mission) will hold a Recovery Resource Fair and grand opening of the Pali Hub from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at 15239 La Cruz.

The event will feature health and wellness workshops on CPR, acupuncture, and medical support, a kids zone with music, and disaster case managers. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided. For more info contact info@gem.org.

On Sunday, Apr. 12, PaliHi will have a free flea market and music festival from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will feature booths from a variety of individuals and vendors.
