Smarter Rebuilding and Electrification Event at Paul Revere Feb. 1
Resilient Palisades is hosting an event titled A Palisades Community Celebration: Our Electric Future on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Paul Revere Charter Middle School (1450 Allenford).
Our Electric Future will focus on electrification, recovery, and rebuilding safer, healthier homes, according to the organizer. Learning sessions will cover topics such as all-electric homes, solar power, battery storage, and microgrids. Attendees can talk with builders, energy experts, and recovery organizations while also learning about incentives and policy options.
Pali Veg Fest has joined the event, and food from La Crepe du Jardin, The Vegan Joint, & Veggie Grill Next Level will be available. Music and family friendly activities will be offered, including solar-powered toy car building, arts and crafts, and face painting.
In addition, Camp Wildcraft is bringing healing activities for all ages, and a native plant sale will be held with information about fire-resilient and climate-appropriate landscaping.
