Virtual Insurance Town Hall with Sen. Ben Allen To Be Held Dec. 12

Calif. Sen. Ben Allen and the Palisades Recovery Coalition will host a third online Insurance Roundtable on Friday, Dec. 12, from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

The event will focus on community-based solutions to reduce risk and improve insurance access and affordability. Experts will review established models, such as FireWise USA, and new innovations in community-based fire technology. In addition, the roundtable will include an exploration of how the state can support community efforts to reduce risk and increase the availability and affordability of insurance.

According to the Palisades Recovery Coalition, the event “will focus on “fire-resilience technology, hardening tools, and the growing instability of communities across Very High Fire Severity Zones. Experts in insurance, risk assessment, and resilient building systems will join us for an honest and solutions-focused conversation.”
