PPCC Holds Regular Meeting Oct. 23/Gladstones Special Meeting Will Be Oct. 30
The Pacific Palisades Community Council will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at this Zoom link.
The L.A. Bureau of Engineering will give a presentation on the proposed pedestrian bridge across PCH between Potrero Canyon and Will Rogers State Beach, according to a council email. In addition, Palisades Friends & Newcomers will share information about their organization.
According to the agenda, the Grants Committee will recommend Board approval of three grants: 1) $71,000 to the Pacific Palisades Residents Association for the operation of Flock Safety license plate reader (LPR) cameras along Sunset at various primary entry and exit points to the community; 2) $30,000 to Palisades Charter High School for the purchase and installation of new cafeteria picnic tables/seating and benches;, and 3) $3,000 to The Seed Bomb Project for the ingredients to make and then distribute “seed bombs” to Palisades residents during the holiday season to help grow wildflower meadows on cleared lots.
The council will also hold a special Board meeting about the Gladstones redevelopment project next week on Oct. 30 in order to hear from representatives from L.A. County Beaches & Harbors as well as concessionaire/developer Thomas Tellefsen of PCH Beach Associates.
