Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Will Be Nov. 24 at Lutheran Church
The Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, which Pacific Palisades religious leaders annually hold on the Monday before Thanksgiving, will continue this year.
At 7 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Palisades Lutheran Church (15905 Sunset Blvd.) and clergy from seven other faiths will welcome the community to join together across religions and belief systems. This year’s theme will be “Foundations of Faith: A Time to Renew & Reconnect.”
The participating local religious institutions include the Community United Method Church, Kehillat Israel, Palisades Lutheran Church, St. Matthew Episcopal Parish, Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine, Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and Corpus Christi Church.
The service will include readings and presentations from the varied religious leaders, who also meet monthly throughout the year to learn from each other. The annual event tends to be a heartwarming event of community connection.
