Fourth of July Fireworks & Other Events

The Fourth of July festivities in Pacific Palisades will include the morning run, a 4 p.m. parade, music, and a drone show, while the Jonathan Club at the base of the California Incline will have fireworks in the evening.

The fireworks show does not have an official start time, according to a club representative, but Canyon residents will likely hear some booms after dark from the 850 Palisades Beach Rd. club. A Canyon resident reported that the show is usually half an hour between 8 and 9 p.m., so she brings her dog inside during that time.

On July 4, the morning races will begin with a 7:30 a.m. opening ceremony. Then, the 5k and 10k runs will start at 8:15 a.m., while the ½-mile kids run is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. More information is available here.

The parade will start at 4 p.m., which is two hours later than in past years, but it will be back in Pacific Palisades and start on Via de la Paz.

In the evening, a music and drone show will be presented at Palisades Charter High School from 6-9:30 p.m. Kids activities and food trucks will also be offered. Tickets are $20 for people 5 and older, and on-site parking is $25. Tickets, parking passes, and further information are available at this link.
