An evacuation order for portions of Pacific Palisades has been issued from Dec. 23 through Christmas Day at 11 p.m. due to expected severe rain, according to LAPD Senior Lead Officer Brian Espin.
“The Evacuation Order is for certain parcels that have already been identified as having a significant risk for mud and debris flow,” Espin said in an email. “These parcels already have or will be notified and contacted by either LAPD or another city entity….The entire Palisades within the burn scar is under a weather warning.”
