In response to resident complaints, dry bamboo on the 4th Street staircase was removed.
Sharon Kilbride, the Canyon’s representative to the Pacific Palisades Community Council, said that she received notice from City Councilmember Traci Park’s Senior Field Deputy Arus Grigoryan that the cleanup effort was underway.
“After many complaints about the dried bamboo overhang on the Fourth Street staircase, today crews were there cleaning up,” Kilbride said.
The LA Conservation Corps was working on the stairs, which starts at the bottom of Ocean and Entrada and goes up to Adelaide. Kilbride noted that she also notified Grigoryan about dead brush encroaching on the road in the Entrada creek area.
