Neighbor Notices Break-In on Latimer

A break-in in the 500 block of Latimer was reported to the Los Angeles Police Department at 8:52 p.m. Sunday, June 28, according to LAPD.

“A neighbor called the police when they noticed a person climbing into a window of the neighboring residence,” said Palisades Senior Lead Officer Brian Espin, “Police responded and completed a building search where the suspect had already fled. Officers took a burglary report with no known property taken. Only perishable items used—food/drink.”

A potential suspect, who was captured on a Ring camera, was described as a tall, thin, older white man with grayish hair, according to Sharon Kilbride, the Canyon representative to the Pacific Palisades Community Council, who spoke to neighbors about the incident. A helicopter search was part of the police response.
