Virtual Wildfire Preparedness Presentation Will Be Held Thursday

A Wildfire Preparedness webinar with California State Fire Marshall Daniel Berlant will be held on June 12 at 5:30 p.m. via this Zoom link.

The event, which is hosted by Calif. Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, Calif. Sen. Ben Allen, and L.A. County Supevisor Lindsay Horvath, will feature not only Berlant’s presentation, but also a question and answer session with representatives from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), the L.A. County Fire Department, the L.A. City Fire Department and the California Department of Insurance.

Topics will include Zone Zero (plant regulations), fire hazard maps, and home hardening.
