Dead Dolphin Washes Ashore Near Bel Air Bay Club

A dead dolphin was found on Will Rogers State Beach near the Bel Air Bay Club by Boca resident Sharon Kilbride.

Kilbride, who regularly walks the beach, said it was the first dead dolphin she had seen during the recent algae bloom that has killed dolphins, sea lions, and marine birds. She had previously reported finding both sick sea lions and dead pelicans

Canyon News reporting about the algae bloom can be found here.
