Fire Testing Scheduled in Highlands Apr. 29-May 1

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives plan to conduct a controlled fire testing along the Temescal Ridge Trail between Skull Rock and Green Peak in the Palisades Highlands starting on the evening of Apr. 29 and continuing until May 1., according to an ATF press release.

“Los Angeles Fire Department personnel will be present before, during, and after all testing to ensure public safety and environmental protection,” according to the press release. “The public should avoid the area during this time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.”
