UCLA Study on Fire Effects Looking for Participants

A UCLA research study is looking for people evacuated during the Palisades and Eaton Fires to understand how both toxic substances and social/economic disruptions affected health in the short term.

Participants, who must be 18 or older, will complete a 30-minute survey and a 40-minute in-person visit that will include both a urine and blood test. In addition, lung function will be tested.

To participate, apply at this link. Call (866) 519-1795 or email coeg@ph.ucla.edu for more information. Not everyone who applies will be selected.
