Entertainment Details Released for Paul Revere 4th of July Show

On the Fourth of July, the PaliHi band, Palisadian singer-songwriter Matty Gottesman, and high-energy cover band Vinyl Jam will be performing at the Palisades Fourth of July celebration, which will be held at Paul Revere Middle School .
Vinyl Jam will not only feature guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, but also a trumpet player and four singers, as they play a slew of popular dance tunes to appeal to all generations, vocalist Will Makar said. They plan to share songs from numerous artists, such as the Jackson Five and Tom Petty, plus celebrate with fun American-themed tracks, including Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA, Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA, and Martina McBride’s Independence Day.
Other popular songs will include Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Kool & the Gang’s Get Down On It. Married vocalists Brandon Diaz and Jackie Foster will also sing the National Anthem as a lush duet, similar to their recent performance for the San Diego Padres at Petco Park.
“It’s all about making sure guests have a great time,” Makar said. “That’s the focus.”
Gates open at 5 p.m., and attendees can bring blankets, cushions, and folding chairs to the soccer field, which will have a stage with a giant LED board, according to the Palisades Americanism Parade Association. Kids activities, including an obstacle course, arts & crafts, track & field games, and inflatables, are also scheduled.
At 6 p.m., MCs Sam Lagana and Kimi Petrick will introduce both the Pali High Band and Gottesman, who grew up in the Alphabet Streets. Gottesman offers an warm and energetic pop sound, and his original music can also be heard here. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Vinyl Jam will entertain the guests.
Then, for the grand finale, 250 drones from longtime fireworks vendor, Pyro Spectacular, will light up the sky with an array of pictures accompanied by music.
Throughout the event, a eating area will be available featuring the following scheduled food trucks: Afters Ice Cream, Angelenos' Wood Fired Pizza, Buddyz Smash Burgers, Cousins Maine Lobster, Gracias Señor Burritos, Green Truck, Italia on the Road, Kalamaki Greek, Kona Ice, Poutine Brothers, Richeeze Grilled Cheese, Smile Hot Dog, Sunset Smash Burgers, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee.
Due to the facility’s size, festivities are restricted to Palisadians, family and friends. Free e-tickets can be ordered before the event with proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, at https://palisades4th.com/tickets (no tickets will be issued at Revere).
There is no on-site parking, but the first 500 customers can buy $10 pre-paid parking from the Water Garden in Santa Monica (1620 26th St.) at this link. Make sure to input the correct date and time: i.e. July 4 from 4:30 p.m.-11 p.m. Free shuttles on the north side of 2450 Colorado Street will travel to Revere every 10-15 minutes.
Entry is closed at 8:50 p.m., and there will be street closures from approximately 9 to 9:30 p.m during the drone show, Both westbound and eastbound traffic along Sunset Blvd. between Allenford Avenue and Mandeville Canyon Road will be closed
Event rules:
No smoking, no pets, and no outside food or drinks. People with coolers will be asked to leave them outside the venue.
Everyone must bring a printed or phone e-ticket to scan at entry. Nothing will be sent by mail. Since cell service can be spotty, screenshots of the tickets or paper print-outs may avoid check-in issues.
One person per ticket. If a ticket is forwarded to another person and scanned at the entrance, that ticket will not be usable by another person.
All persons and property subject to search. IDs may be checked.
