Sen. Allen to Discuss Proposed Fire Recovery Authority at Council Meeting Thursday

State Sen. Ben Allen will speak about SB 549, a proposed bill to establish a county authority to oversee Pacific Palisades’ fire recovery, at the Pacific Palisades Community Council meeting on Thursday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at this Zoom link, and the text of the bill is here.

In addition, the council will consider motions co-sponsored by Sharon Kilbride, the Canyon’s representative, about auditing and disclosing all funding sources for the city’s Inside Safe homelessness program as well as prohibiting encampments.
