Tickets Released for July 4 Celebration at Paul Revere—Must Be Pre-ordered
The Palisades Americanism Parade Association (PAPA) announced that tickets are now available for the evening July 4th celebration at Paul Revere Middle School (1450 Allenford Ave.).
Gates open at 5pm with live music, entertainment, over a dozen food trucks, kids’ activities, and a huge drone show at 9 p.m., according to PAPA. Pre-ticketing with address validation is required at www.Palisades4th.com with the event restricted to Palisadians, their family, and friends. Tickets are free and limited to six per community member.
“This is an occasion for Palisadians to spend time together to celebrate the best days in the Palisades and plan for even better days ahead,” according to PAPA’s press release. “We wish we could accommodate folks from a larger geographic area, but the number of Palisadians outnumber the venue’s capacity.”
Unfortunately, there will be no parking at Paul Revere. However, parking will be available in Santa Monica with free shuttle buses to the event The parking lot location will be provided to people who obtain tickets. Since attendance is limited, PAPA urges residents to register immediately.
Other Fourth of July events include the Palisades Will Rogers 5K Run at 7 a.m. and the Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m., both at Venice Beach, as well as the Santa Monica July 4th Parade at 9:30 a.m., starting at Pico Blvd. and Main St. The parade organization has invited Palisadians to participate, and the Palisades Oom PaPa band, which celebrated 50 years of marching in the Palisades parade last year, will be one of the familiar participants. In addition, a Palisadian guest announcer will be speaking from the official grandstand at Ocean Park Library. Further information is available at santamonicaparade.com.
