Palisadians Invited to Heal with Art

The Palisades Recovery Coalition is initiating a two-year Art for Healing program with a workshop Wednesday afternoon.

The program’s goal is to create “a space where artistic expression, guided creativity, and healing meet,” according to the PRC. “The opening theme is trees: symbols of endurance, renewal, and deep roots and a priority as we fight to restore what was lost in our tree canopy,”

A local therapist and recovery counselor will lead the Aug. 27 event, which will be held from 4-6 p.m. at PRC’s headquarters, 15224 Sunset Blvd.
